Im sick of getting dishonor when I have to map JQ or FA for title. Cant the live team make it so we map the entire area upon that characters first entry?

ive gotten 3 canthan carto's and on all those 3 i never got dishonor whilst getting jq/fa.
How?

Play whilst you carto, and just sometimes you run into the wall to get that extra.1%

and eaven if you get dishonor,you have to wait...5-10 min? carto somewhere else meantime.

as always, there's alot of other things that should be looked into before things like this.

You must be the worlds worth mapper if you have to map to the extent of getting sick of it.

Man-up, use textmod, try to cap and win.... and grab the odd missing map piece while doing it: simple.

Maybe ,idk, warn your team? Op this is very dumb, its not a big deal I got the whole map done in two games for FA and 3 for JQ by playing with the team. also try lux side during dead hours bots can't report

Tbh i never mapped jq or fa and i got cartog title - if you have texmod and/or visit http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10232899 that has hints on each zone in cantha and the small amount your missing may be got scraping or doing the portal jump.Check that link first - in a way its the cartographers bible , ps there is a version for rest of campaigns as well .

I'm pretty sure that even with a minimal contribution, you can map each of those arenas without getting flagged by your teammates.

/not signed....you should have been around before jq and fa were played--THAT was the times it was hard to map (wait for 10 days to get in----).
Just kill some stuff and RUN....get killed, rez...kill something the other way and RUN....repeat until times up...never gotten dishonor for this (have 12 characters with 100% of cantha).

As I've said several times in similar threads, I believe that every single area in the game should have an 'explorable' version.

Including all PvP areas.

Currently you can visit the Guild Halls thanks to the Canthan Ambassador.
All other arenas should have a way to visit them, learn the layout and explore them, taking your time.

Aah I remember back in the day when no one played Jade quarry. I really needed to get in there to map so I had a friend ask in Kaineng that we needed jade quarry volunteer players while i greeted them in the Luxon and Kurzik outposts. After about an hour or so we finally got a match going and I got my cartographer title

It was frustrating back then to not be able to get into an area because you are dependent on others, but when I think back on it now, the challenge of getting people there if now forever a part of getting the Canthan cartographer title. Also made some awesome new friends that time who also wanted to map in there^^
